The Center for Preservation of Indigenous Breeds at the end of April signed a Memorandums of Cooperation with Cynology Fedeation of  Turkey and Bulgarian Cynology Federation for implemenation Program of stadardization for indigenous dog breeds. Based on these Memorandums will be carried out several projects whose aim will be to develop exterior-zootechnical study for indigenous dog breeds  from the two countries.

Ministry of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management, adopted the rules in the field of hunting, which entered into force on publication in the Official Gazette of RS no. 40/2012. Rules on hunting and Cadastre central database you can download from page Rules and Regulations.

During February and March of the line Ministry has adopted several new regulation:

Regulation on the establishment of animal health protection measures in 2012. year

Regulation on conditions to be met by the kennel for animals

Regulation on conditions to be met by pensions and shelters for animals

Regulation on the manner of marking and registration of dogs and cats_2012

Regulation on conditions for placing on the market and how to mark the hunted game and trophies, as well as keeping records

Ministry of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry anf Water Managment adopted two new regulations in the field of wildlife management, which entered into force on publication in the Official Gazette of RS no. 9/2012. Adopted was new Regulation to declare a closed season game and protected species and Regulation on contents and preparation of planning documents in hunting. Both Regulation can be downloaded from Serbian Legislation section.

Electronic Library of the Centre for preservation of indigenous breeds is richer for the 14 scientific papers in the field of goat breeding, biotechnology, pig breeding, hunting and canine. All papers can be viewed on education section.

During the 2011. the Turkish shepherd dog – Kangal is standardized and officially recognized at the national level by the Cynology Federation of Turkey. On that occasion, Center for preservation of indigenous breeds is published a brochure in electronic form. The brochure to a colorful way display the usefulness of these dogs, the conditions in which they raise and how did flowed the process of standardization.

Representatives of CEPIB are made zootechnical study, and on the basis of that developed the first standard for the these breed, adopted by  Cynology Federetion of  Turkey.

Kangal is the first Turkish indigenous breed of dog that is standardized. Cynology Federation of Turkey in cooperation with representatives of CEPIB working on a project for development zootechnical study for Turkish greyhound – Sultani Tazi.
